Isopods are a must for all terrariums! They are vital to the health of terrariums because they eat the decomposing materials like dead leaves, rotting wood, and other undesirable material. They will also till the soil adding aeration while also helping to fertilize the soil!
The European Spikey (Cristarmadillium muricatum) are a miniature species with small spikes. They are best in terrariums with more arid themes, such as peperomia, pilea, hoya, and succulents. They are a rare species that was only recently discovered. We highly discourage putting these in with any predators, plants only!
