The black margin has ovate, dark green leaves with silver flecks and textured, raised veins. However, its name comes with the dark purple to black borders that line each leaf.  These dark margins can become more prominent when exposed to bright light.

Watering: allow to dry out slightly between waterings
Soil: chunky, aroid type mix
Humidity: fine with normal home conditions but will benefit from higher humidity
