The elliptica is a beautiful hoya with dark green leaves and striking veining in lighter green. These fleshy leaves have a bronze hue underneath and have been nicknames the turtle shell hoya due to their resemblance to shells.

Watering: allow to dry out slightly between waterings
Soil: chunky, aroid type mix
Humidity: fine with normal home conditions but will benefit from higher humidity
