Hoya carnosa compacta variegata, aka Hindu Rope Hoya, is a rare Hoya that is native to Southern India. It has striking, crinkled leaves that are variegated with creamy-white margins. In bright light, the white portions of the leaves will develop a pink hue. Hoya carnosa compacta has some of the best flowers of any Hoya, because they smell like chocolate! Seriously! Once the plant matures, you can expect clusters of chocolate-scented flowers that are pinkish-white and star-shaped.
