A lot of people are intimidated by cactus, but once you figure out their unique needs, you may find your house full of them. This particular cactus has a tidy, columnar shape and unusual blueish hue with contrasting goldish, white spines. Watering for this plant changes with the season. During the growing season (spring and summer), it should be watered every two to three weeks. It goes dormant in the winter and should be watered once every month at most. Sun is the most important part of cactus care. It should be in a sunny south or west-facing windowsill or under a grow light, receiving at least four hours of direct sunlight.
*Note that the unique shape of this particular cactus is due to some neglect. It was rescued from an office building after being left behind during lockdown but I think it's shape gives it character. It's a testament to how amazingly adaptive cactus can be :). It comes fully rooted in a cactus specific mix and grey clay pot.
